*4+ Months* *Columbus, OH* Projects: 1. BEx workbook to WAD report conversions: It includes migration of BEx 3.5 reports to BEx 7.1 or 7.3 version reports. 2. SAP BW upgrade from 3.5 to 7.3 testing and issue resolution. SAP BW Consultant Job description: - Responsible for Creation BW data flows and relevant infrastructure. - Responsible for Creation of RRI reports. - Responsible for Creating/Modifying the BEx reports to Query Designer Reports to be fitted for Web reporting. - Responsible for Creation of Calculated Key figures, Restricted Key Figures, Formulas, Local and Global query structures, formula, variables and user exit codes. - Responsible for Creating Web Templates. - Responsible for Creating Portal iViews based on Query or WAD. – Created iViews and delivered them to Portal team. - Responsible for Testing that includes Performance testing of newly created BW data flow, BEx Reports. - Responsible for Test planning and documentation. - Responsible for integrated testing via portal to validate the end to end Reporting. - Responsible to manage and coordinate FIT (Functional Integration Testing) in-coordination with the customer facing group. - Responsible for Co-ordinating with the respective support teams for production system modifications cutover and the initial data loads in the production environment during cut-over. - Responsible for working with the support teams for Knowledge Transition - Responsible for Managing and providing post go-live support. - Responsible for Documentation of development. - Responsible for understanding the project requirements provided by limited Brands BW team - Responsible for preparing design and technical specification documents - Responsible for implementation of the approved design - Responsible for adherence to quality standards defined for the project. - Responsible for communicating the project status and status of escalate issues on time - Responsible for creating or assigning newly created reports in proper BW security roles - Responsible for proper documentation of design/ test cases. Technology Skills Required - *Proficiency in SAP BW 3.5 /7.1/7.3 data modeling.* - Knowledge of Portal iview concept. - *Data modeling concept with generic delta implementation.*** - Hands on experience in FI-GL , SD and LO modules. - *Must have in-depth knowledge of BW 3.5 and BW 7.1 /7.3 Query designer. * - Expert in creating BW 3.5 Query Designer elements like calculated Key Figures, Restricted Key figures, User Exit Variable and formulas. - *Must have worked on Cell editor in Query Designer. – Worked on one project implementation* - Knowledge of SAP ABAP for start routines and user exits/ customer exits for reporting variables. - Knowledge of SAP BW transport process. - Knowledge of SAP BW security Concept. - Experience on SAP BW Upgrade, this should be recent hands-on. – My recent upgrade project was in 2009-10 timeframe. This was 3.5 to 7.0 upgrade. - *Must be able to lead team of 4-5 developers*. System Handover - Production cut-over would be followed by post production FIT sign–off. Key Deliverables / Services - Technical design specification documents for the newly created BW reports. - Technical design specification documents for the BW changes required to load master and transaction data for the In-Scope Reports. - BW Elements as per design - Test case document for Unit Testing - Support UAT and obtain business sign-off - Knowledge Transition documents and plan - Production Cut-over checklist Key Milestones Given below is the high-level tentative project schedule with key milestones targeted- - Quality Move of the Development. - FIT sign-off in Quality Systems.
