I need at least 8+ consultants with SCRUM, WCF, C#, SQL
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6 month contract, potential extension
Pay Rate: $60-per hour on corp to corp
Phone hire -2 phone interviews and Decision
Position Description: Software Engineer - .NET Applications
• Energetic and adaptable contributor to SCRUM
development process.
• Write elegantly readable, testable code that satisfies all
stated requirements
• Develop WCF REST web services in C#, using MS SQL for data storage
• Develop web pages, business logic and data access layers
• Develop SSRS reports, including SQL stored procedures,
indexes and views
• Create technical specifications to describe the
architecture, design and functionality of software components under
development
• Research and integrate with 3rd party technology and software
• Ability to identify potential project risks and issues
before they occur
• Provide technical guidance to other staff members
• Position reports to Software Engineering Manager
Skills Description:
• BSCS, BSEE or equivalent technical degree
• 5+ years proven success designing, implementing,
documenting, and maintaining software projects of significant size and
complexity. Technologies include the following:
o Deep knowledge of C# and the .NET framework
o .NET technologies including WCF, Entity Framework, ASP.NET WebForms, MVC
o Web technologies including HTML, XML, SOAP, REST, AJAX
o MS SQL technologies including SSRS and SSIS
• Familiar with design patterns
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development mythology
• Experience with Test Driven Development, automated
unit-tests and mocking frameworks (e.g. Moles or Rhino Mocks)
• Good team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-directed and results-oriented
• Able to work under pressure of deadlines
• Supports team members to increase overall effectiveness of the team
