The positions are for *Java Web developer,* Please find the complete details below. * Position 1: Sr. Web Developer Duration: 6-12 months Location: West Norristown, PA Main Duties : • The Sr. Web Developer / consultant primary responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing, coding, testing, deploying and maintaining applications using Java/J2EE, application servers, message oriented middleware, web services and databases. Required Knowledge : • Java/J2EE (JSF, EJB 3, JPA (or equivalent) , JSP, Spring Integration (or Apache Camel), JDBC, JCA, J2EE frameworks, JMS, Restful Web Services , asynchronous Web Services ) • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX • Testing (JUnit, Acceptance testing framework) • Build ( Ant, Maven , CruiseControl) • Oracle (SQL and PLSQL) • Eclipse, Toad (or equivalent) • JBoss • Linux or Unix Required Experience : • A minimum of 5 years in Java/J2EE web development • Experience in developing e-commerce websites The following are desirable qualifications : • Jasper Reports, , JBoss Drools (or equivalent), UML, SOA, Design Patterns, Data Modeling, Agile Development ________________________________________ Position 2: Architect - Web Application Development Duration: 8 months with possible extension Location: San Mateo, CA Main Responsibility Area: • Work in a team as an Lead and guide a team of engineers • Work as an Architect in Design and deliver Web Application • Primary contact point for the customer in collecting requirements and doing system level design • Design, implementation and module test • Provide support for System and Integration testing • Taking care of the maintenance, once first client-deliverables have been released Core Skills Required : • 8+ years of Java, J2EE, JSP development experience • 4+ years of hands on experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX. • Experience in developing cross browser Web Applications. • 3+ years of working experience in MVC Framework experience: Struts2, Spring MVC or similar. • Strong J2EE/OO Design patterns experience • Experience in building consumer websites using REST API, HTTP/JSON/XML • Experience in working with server side scripting, like PHP, JSP, etc. • Experience of working with tools like JUnit, JsUnit, Eclipse • Experience with Agile development. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, EE (minimum). Masters degree a plus.
