Short Project Description
Customer is undergoing a Win 7 upgrade and they have problems with older
desktop applications running on the Win 7 operating system. They need a
developer/architect type person to assist the development team in
remediation of older applications that cannot be run in a Win 7 desktop.
Resource Tasks
This resource will work with the business units to understand the
application functionality and how it's used in the business environment.
They will also work with the AMEX application teams to understand problem
application lower level functionality. Source code review, recommendation
on re-architecting application to run in a Win 7 environment
Required Skills
Must have strong understanding of application development based on older
Windows 16 bit architecture. Also strong development in .NET, ASP, ASPX.
Any Win7 app remediation a huge plus+++++
MCSD .NET certified preferred
JAVA experience a plus
