Solid understanding of the Kimball Method . SQL Server stored procedures and T-SQL query patterns . Understanding of dimensional data structures and complex hierarchies . Basic understanding data visualization practices and methods . SSAS Cube Architecture and Design . SSIS Package Design Patterns and Configuration Preferred Qualifications: . Tableau dashboarding . Security implementation in BI solutions, including user access security with Active Directory and Analysis Services Roles . Agile BI DW development methodologies . Data Mining within data warehouse . TDWI -CBIP -Certified Business Intelligence Professional . Microsoft -MCTS -Database Development or BI Development and Maintenance . Microsoft -MCITP -Database Administrator, Database Developer, or BI Developer Essential Job Duties: . Participate in the entire lifecycle for Business Intelligence Solution Delivery . Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) . Design and develop OLAP Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) . Design and develop End-user visualizations using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS 2008 and R2) and Tableau . Assist with BI Solution (DBMS, SSIS, SSAS) architecture and performance tuning . Stay abreast of BI industry best practices and relevant new technologies Additional Job Duties (include but are not limited to): . SharePoint workflow development . Custom .Net development .
