Please send me your resumes to [email protected] Job Title:- SAS Platform Administrator Location:- Boston, MA (actually, Southborough, MA) The Customer is looking for a SAS Platform Administrator able to fully administer and provide knowledge transfer to others regarding a SAS EBI / EDI multi-tier RedHat Linux 5 platform instance. In addition, the environment also has the Enterprise Miner and Model Manager suite of products as well as JMP. In addition, two solutions called Quality Lifecycle Analysis (QLA) and Enterprise Case Management (ECM) have been deployed in their environment as well. The environment consists of a DEV/TEST/PROD environment with the DEV/TEST being two tiers and PROD being three. PROD has a custom load balancing solution for the Mid-tier consisting of CISCO Load Balancer and Apache Web Server interfacing with the JBOSS web application server load balancing across two Mid-tier machines. The SAS Administrator would need to fulfill all standard SAS Administration type duties such as creating users, groups, defining libraries, databases (Greenplum), servers, creating security scheme security, etc. In addition, this SAS Administrator would need to be able to interface and coordinate activities as pertaining to SAS between the Customer System Administrators and Mid-Tier Administrators. Authentication is currently using HOST based authentication, but the corporate standard is Active Directory (AD), and the RedHat server and SAS must be reconfigured to use AD as the alternative authentication provider. The Customer is also having issues with performance, job efficiency and stability for users especially when using Enterprise Guide and accessing Greenplum.
