Contract Java Developer at Boston, MA
*Key Responsibilities:*

- Works closely with other Software Engineers to design and implement
web services solutions to large, complex business problems in the areas of
ecommerce, online identity management, and access rights.
- Delivers solutions on Java and Python platforms using open standards,
third party tools and frameworks to deliver high quality, robust and
maintainable products.
- Ensures that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility,
security, object-oriented practices and performance.
- Applies Agile practices for successful, sustainable delivery of
software solutions.
- Produces quality design and development work in a timely manner.
- Works with Business Analysts, Project Managers and Product Managers to
ensure solutions meet product requirements.
- Conducts unit testing, acceptance testing and integration testing and
collaborates with Software Quality Engineers on QA initiatives.

*Qualifications*
* *
- 4-6 years of experience in enterprise-scale and / or internet-scale
development, with Java and J2EE.
- Proven experience with web application and client side development,
including working knowledge of MVC patterns.
- Very strong skills and hands-on experience in data modeling and object
oriented design principles.
- Working experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate is required.
- Experience with RESTful services (design, tooling, testing) is
required.
- Experience with SOAP services (standards, design, tooling, testing) is
desired.
- Familiarity with identity management solutions (such as Shibboleth,
CAS, SAML, OpenID) is a plus.
- Working experience with Python and Django is a plus.
- Experience working with relational databases (specifically Oracle) is
required.
- Experience working with nosql databases (specifically mongodb) is a
plus.
- Reasonable knowledge of Linux platform.
- Experience with integration frameworks (ESB, BPEL, JMS) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile practices and processes is a plus.
- College Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
