Providetechnical support for E-Gov Transition Project. Analyze large repository ofsource code and separate out code into 200 web applications, websites andservices. Compile code and prepare deployable packages to be distributedto state agencies JobDescription: There are approximately 125 websites and approximately 139applications to transition from the current environment to other hostingenvironments and Operations and Maintenance (0&M) vendors. Clientwill be packaging the Interactive code for all applications and websites anddeploying the code to all public body customers starting September 2012. To meet this code deployment schedule ESG is requesting a developer to compilethe code received from the Interactive Escrow account; package the code for deploymentto customers, and to address and resolve problems and/or issues the customershave with the compiled code. Shouldbe able to work through a large repository of pre-existing code and go througha discovery phase to identify and separate out code belonging to 200 web basedbusiness applications. Proficient knowledge of web development, testing,packaging code into deployable applications. Experience with web services.Expertise in promoting deployable application packages and validating businessapplications on Test and Production environments. Development experience withRelational Databases and SQL. Experience with Web server and Application serveradministration. Experiencewith development of web based payment processing applications and paymentgateways. Awareness and understanding of PCI compliance. Extensiveexperience with web application hosting, the hardware/software environmentsrequired to support web applications. Demonstratedskills in problem identification, root cause analysis and resolution. Doesapplication analysis using existing code to write high level applicationdocumentation describing application flow. Writes manual for users to describeinstallation and operating procedures. May use computer-aided software tools ineach stage of system development. May oversee installation of hardware andsoftware. May install and test program at user site. May specialize indeveloping programs for business or technical applications. Abilityto work with technical and non-technical teams often conveying complextechnical information. Excellentverbal communication skills. Experiencein working on multiple projects with an extensive variety of stakeholders andmultiple vendors. Degreein information technology or related field desirable; other education and/orprogressive experience may substitute. Microsoft or other relevantcertifications are preferable.
