*Systems Engineer with Red Hat Linux (RHEL)* Duration:-12 mos
Location:-Dallas,Tx F2F required, Local or near by System Engineer This is a position on a UNIX engineering and support Team in Technology Engineering. The Team manages 2,000+ Unix/Linux servers and workstations. The primary focus of the Team is to provide a highly available, consistent, and resiliant operating environment for application deployments. This includes both engineering design and support responsibilities. There is an on-call pager that is rotated through the engineers and the on-call requirements include being able to provide remote support quickly and come on-site to address support issues directly. Required Skills - A minimum of 5 years IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies *- A minimum of 2 years IT experience on VMware ESX* - Ability to provide leadership within a specific technology area, or across multiple technology areas, to complete root-cause analysis, perform testing, provide documentation. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work well with Customers at all levels (Leadership and Non-Leadership). - Ability and willingness to mentor others - Ability to multi-task Additional Skills - Familiarity with web services - Familiarity with Database technologies.
