| Duties & Responsibilites : | Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. May require a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a technical discipline, or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
Duties include:
- Analyze and validate business requirements received for the assigned project. Collaborate with project stakeholders to create a requirements packet. This packet includes conceptual design diagrams, application dataflow diagrams, high level architectural diagrams and the requirements collection form.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Design Team to refine the documents in the IT Requirements packet. Capture constraints and targeted concerns/issues that are outside of the acceptable standards.
- Investigates alternatives to satisfy business or technical requirements and makes recommendations regarding cost/benefit ratio, reduced workload and increased efficiency.
- Collect and provide cost estimates for the infrastructure components required for a project
- Prepares project documentation and obtains client or IT approval.
- Create Statement of Work.
- Ability to transition any analysis program to the ITPM.
- The key measure of the role is that the deliverables are consistently produced to a high standard and within the timescales agreed with the customer.

- Networking, including VLANs, TCP/IP subnetting, & firewalls
- Storage Area Networks
- Blade and Virtual server technologies
Extensive Technical Business Analyst experience with infrastructure security projects.
