This position is very detail oriented and deadline driven, requires strong ability to learn fast as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Technology Execution Lead Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. May manage projects including responsibility for a project and project budget. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring creative solutions. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 7-10 years of applicable experience.
Required:- - Project Management experience in a heavily technical environment oExamples - Spring, Struts 2, Web Services, J2ee, Objective C, etc.) - Understands the role of HTML5 - Needs to have delivered mobile projects to a large, enterprise audience. oEx: Wells app, BAC app, insurance app, these will be names of companies that we KNOW of. Enterprise wide. - Has strong knowledge in one aspect of mobile development oEx: User Interface, Objective C, Android Development, etc.
Highly preferred:- - Technical background themselves - 5-7 years’ experience as a Technical Lead with multiple large scale enterprise applications. - Experience with eCommerce Technology
Technology: Lead has to understand current trends in mobile technology. - Lead has to understand current trends in mobile technology. - Has to understand the role of HTML5, advantages and disadvantages of native development. - Has to have some ideas about how to promote re-use. - Should be able to articulate, on his or her own, the challenges companies face in developing on many platforms, and trends in overcoming these challenges. - Has to understand the difference between executing change and keeping the lights on. - Having deeper knowledge in one aspect of mobile development (User Interface, Objective C) is more advantageous.
Delivery: - Lead should understand the considerations and risks involved in rolling out a mobile application that will be delivered in wide-use and heavily depended upon for daily use (like a banking app). - Experience working for a bank or delivering a banking app, insurance app is desirable. - Needs to be able to deal with the ability to take an agile process and integrate it with a standard development or delivery process. |
