| Duties & Responsibilites : | Role Description:
-Actively participate in analyzing and evaluating emerging software and hardware technologies/standards.
-Develop appropriate functional and usability standards for the environments.
-Assist in planning and implementing shared software, such as operating systems, configuration management tools, application and development tools, testing tools, etc.
-Assist in planning and coordinating testing changes, upgrades and new and standard products, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environment.
-Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
-Analyze the functional and/or technical impact of new product releases.
-Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
-Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
-Identify and track issues, risks and action items.
Skills Required / Desired:
-Strong written and verbal communication-Required 5 Years-
-Experience imaging workstations w/client server software-Required 5 Years-
-Experience configuring, trouble shooting & set up for 200 plus workstations Required 5 Years-
-Exp configuring & trouble shooting remote access-Required 5 Years-
-Exp configuring aircards with secure state programs Required 5 Years-
-Exp installing Internet Explorer 8 on desktops-Required 5 Years-
-Ability to Image and deploy computers. Required 3 Years-
-Knowledge of MS Office 2003, 2007, 2010, Especially Outlook and Word. Required 2 Years-
-Some basic PC and printer repair skills. Required 3 Years-
-Good telephone helpdesk / customer support skills Required 3 Years-
-Ability to work on and fix issues remotely using remote connection software. Required 1 Years
