This position is responsible for technical thought leadership and advising customer executives and visionaries in various technical problems within the enterprise. This position will work with and report directly to the Sr. Enterprise Architects within the organization responsible for overall application landscape and come up with high level technical solutions. The role involves design and development of various proof of concepts to be delivered from a global
onsite/offshore team.
Responsibilities:
• Strong technical thought leadership and around with large scale distributed systems
• Develop projects and proof of concepts in onsite-offshore model
• Architecture, design, development and support of new frameworks
• Presentation to appropriate for a senior executive leadership audience (Sr VP/CIO)
• Pre-sales activities for identifying and mining new opportunities
• Working with off the shelf products as well as existing vendor partnership to come up with
• solutions for the customer
Skills:
• 8 - 12 years of technical experience, including significant experience in J2EE and building and customizing frameworks and related technologies.
• Hands on experience with large distributed systems, including middleware technologies
• Good understanding of cutting edge technologies such as Big Data, Cloud Computing and API Platforms
• Experience with agile development
• Other skills include Junit, Maven, SVN, Spring, JAXRS,
• Expertise in front end technologies such as JQuery/Sencha etc.
• Experience with UML, knowledge of design patterns
• Clear understanding of web services approach including web service protocols such as SOAP and REST
• Other skills include SWM, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT, XPATH
• Prior work experience with service oriented architecture
• Prior work experience with the following: REST, Java, Spring, Hibernate, JAX-RS
• Knowledge in Zookeeper, Jakarta Commons and caching technologies
