Duties & Responsibilites :	Job Title: SAS Developer Location: Frederick, MD Client: Financial Length: 6 months + Our client is looking for to rebuild their existing program used for data warehousing. Responsibilities: This individual will be working directly with the manager and the expectation would be that he/she would be able to take the documentation prepared (BRD and process flows) and translate that into a foundational SAS database. This would include the creation of daily scripts to maintain the environment that would interface with our existing data sources along with assistance with the development of a middle tier environment for reporting (once again in SAS). Must Haves: Base/SAS experience is required…example (SAS procedures, Data Step Debugger, Output Delivery System…etc) Experience building macro code to run in SAS programs. SQL Statements This project exposure should also include an aptitude to take business requirements and process flows and translate them into a viable data repository solution with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Candidate should possess an extensive background with interfacing with SAS environments using external tools including but not necessarily limited to Microsoft Excel, _vbscript_, XML, and UNIX/DOS commands. Prior experience with coaching/mentoring desired.
