Duties & Responsibilites :	The analytics engineer drives the consultative implementation of Integration Discovery Analytics and Population Health Management with customers, including data source analysis, development/capture of customer-specific business requirements, and configuration of ad-hoc reporting as contractually specified. The analytics engineer supports customer-funded service adaptations to core solutions via ad-hoc report support and data integration, working with the customer on detailed design and partnering with other members of the service delivery and product management teams to enable defined solutions. The analytics engineer will act as a services liaison to product management for input on data design and customer needs regarding PHM and IDA solutions. The analytics analyst will maintain current knowledge of various Thomson Reuters analytic databases and will drive the service delivery of cross-database integration opportunities as customer needs may dictate. This resource is responsible for successfully establishing business and technical relationships with internal and external customers while consistently delivering exceptional service in an accurate, cost-effective and timely manner. This role is accountable for providing deliverables in accordance with architecture constraints, technical standards, product management and GM guidelines, and project expectations. Essential Duties/Responsibilities • Implement and configure PHM and IDA for customer organizations, providing consulting on data implications and assistance with ad-hoc report design and development. • Develop and apply detailed knowledge of PHM, IDA, and Integration Discovery data models and supporting methods. Maintain understanding of enterprise integration and source system data integrity and security considerations in order to advise customers on analytic best practices. • Support the technical design and development delivery of customer deliverables in partnership with product management, service delivery, and engineering teams. • Accountability for successful completion of service innovation project deliverables and efficient and effective throughput of technical service delivery for timely revenue recognition and maximum customer satisfaction. • Interact with product management and other internal stakeholders as needed to ensure alignment of solutions with customer needs and visibility to customer expectations and business challenges. • Maintain data model and schematic knowledge of the relevant technology stacks and workflow use cases. • Deliver on other technical or consultative service projects as assigned. • Maintain compliance with time tracking, status reporting, design and development methodologies, and other management communication requirements as defined by manager. Other Duties/Responsibilities • Maintain technical knowledge of current tools and standards. • Maintain knowledge of population health and data integration trends • Maintain knowledge of healthcare provider business needs Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes • Healthcare Information Systems interfaces and integration techniques • Accomplished written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity and experience with healthcare clinical, administrative, and financial data sets • Familiarity with healthcare data interchange protocols • Familiarity with Truven Health Analytics databases and solutions • Passion for service excellence and integrity Required Education and/or Experience • Bachelors (Computer Science or MIS), or comparable experience • Minimum 4 year healthcare IT/analytics experience • Familiarity with COGNOS, .NET, and Oracle environments • Familiarity with Agile and LEAN methodologies • Previous experience in customer-facing roles
