Details:

·         The primary responsibility is to develop packages and SCCM
collections to help ensure the timely release of software updates to
embedded devices. This engineer will work with engineering to   reduce or
resolve potential failures through the implementation of testing protocols,
as well as ensure the product meets specific certification guidelines as
appropriate.  The ideal candidate is a detail oriented test engineer with
some coding/development experience, who can dive in to difficult areas at
any level and produce practical solutions.

·         Work closely with Development, Release and QA engineers to design
and develop automated software updates for embedded devices.

·         Report bugs maintain documentation of test results; ensure
closure; analyze test results and provide reports.

·         Provide management with test case coverage and defect metrics to
substantiate release recommendations.

·         Work with other members of the team to improve our processes,
tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency.

modeling lifecycle, and has experience managing predictive model
development related to insurance claims.

Summary Responsible for successfully managing one or more, medium to large
sized, and moderately to highly complex projects. This may include, but is
not limited to:

•        Scope, plan, manage and monitor the Claims IT projects under
responsibility

•        Manage the relationship between Claims IT and the Business at the
project level

•        Oversee finance and budget management, quality management, control
management at project level



Primary Job Responsibilities

•        Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets, and
measures of success for Claims IT projects under responsibility

•        Adhere to all Claim IT project standards.

•        Collaborate with the Claims IT Service Managers to ensure
allocation of resources with appropriate skills and/or development needs

•        Conduct project and project phase kick-off meetings; ensure roles
and project expectations are clearly communicated to all stakeholders

•        Monitor day-to-day project activities, and proactively identify
and resolve issues that would present a risk to on-time and/or on budget
implementation

according to  Claims IT project management standards and tools

•        Participate in the tracking and reporting of project metrics

•        Maintain an awareness of the full  Claims IT program portfolio and
participate in Claims IT project request prioritization and provide
recommendations

•        Work closely with IT Services Managers to support  the development
and execution the overall Claims IT resource management strategy

•        Support IT Services Managers and other Claims IT technical staff
in the implementation of the Claims IT knowledge management process

•        Provide guidance to the Claims IT Project Manager as needed

•        Participate in Claims IT and Customer-wide project management
working groups and activities to stay current on the latest project
management  solutions and to ensure the proposed project management
processes, tools and metrics are aligned to the current and future
Corporate IT objectives

•        Build and maintain a solid understanding of the major IT  trends
impacting the business

•        Maintain a broad business and IT product knowledge, including  the
impact of industry trends, regulatory environment, and relevant best
practices on the Claims IT business and operations

methodologies in the PMI and/or SDLC development life cycle Business
Partnership

•        Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of business process
and products across Claims and Claims IT , and establish strong working
relationships with functional counterparts and vendors

appropriate solutions based on a strong understanding of the business issue
at hand

•        Understand the Claims IT technology strategy and/or sourcing
direction and how they impact the relationships with specific vendors

Recommended Qualifications

•        Bachelor's Degree (required) or Master's Degree (preferred)

•        5-7 years of combined business, project management, team
leadership, and technology experience

•        4-6 years of project management experience and in managing client
relationships (internal/external)

•        Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management or
Professional (PMP) certification strongly desired

•        Knowledge of CMM and Six Sigma methodologies and standards

•        Excellent project management skills, including ability to execute
and prioritize a number of tasks simultaneously, and experience managing
cross-functional teams

•        Proven financial management experience

•        Understanding of IT environments, technologies in relation to
business needs

•        Proven practical experience with analysis and/or support to Claims
business processes

•        Experience using enterprise project management application such as
Clarity

•        Experience in initiating, conducting and facilitating discussions
with multiple stakeholders, and ability to translate the results and issues
at hand to the business and to the IT teams
