Duration:- 03 months
Interview:- Will hire off the Phone or Skype.
Top 3:-
- Experience working with java applications- understand the pitfalls and identify those areas
- Websphere application server environment- performance tuning
- SILK- load test software, or another similar load test software tool.
Responsibilities:-
- Tuning performance
- J2ee implementations/specification and application components that go with that.
- Understand tuning performance for java applications
- Understand containers with which applications run- for example, Websphere application server is a container.
- Monitor performance
- Diagnostic experience
- Understand how applications interact with network- there is a significant online piece and batch piece behind the scenes, making sure processing is efficient
- SHOULD have hands on development experience.
Client Description:-
- Websphere application server tuning
- MG series performance monitoring and tuning
Silk performer load tool and understanding the report diagnostics
- Network performance (ideal, but might be a stretch)
- Java batch application tuning
- Application development profiling tools and diagnostics (identifying memory leaks, inefficient use of resources, etc.) ex. eclipse or RAD (rational application developer)- used for isolation of potential problems in a code.
