| Duties & Responsibilites : | Job Description: Actively interface with other team members and teams to gather requirements, design, code, debug, document, and implement. - Effective design and development of front-end components through iterative process. - Research, recommend, and develop new components for Sharepoint platform - Lead other junior developers or graphics designers on Web development projects. - Highly motivated self-starter, detail and quality oriented and able to work independently - Resolve complex problems that have implications beyond your own area. - Capable of working proficiently at both the strategic and tactical aspects of a project - Responsible for maintaining and maturing web presence, mainly Intranet. - Responsible for creation of concept, design, testing and maintenance of web sites, pages and applications. - General duties will include advising web developers and management on all aspects of web development from technology to functionality to graphics. - Must be proficient in _javascript_, CSS, DHTML, and XML. Must be able to write server-side dynamic web pages such as Active Server Pages (ASP), ASPX using C#. - Must be proficient in: Visual Studio.NET, Notepad, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. - Must be able to write and debug code in straight text format, without the help of a GUI interface. Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 6 year experience developing in Web development (_javascript_, CSS, HTML, ASP.Net) - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Experience with XML and SQL - Prior experience creating Sharepoint and collaboration sites - Experience with jQuery and other _javascript_ libraries - Experience with wire-framing and user design concepts - Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other graphics tools - Experience with MVC and object-oriented programming - Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight constraints - Experience / familiarity with both waterfall and agile principles/methodologies - Successful history of web projects delivered - Team player, self-starter & goal oriented Skills Preferred but Not Required: Good understanding of and keen interest in digital media and online marketing trends - Familiar with a variety of the web and desktop technology concepts, practices, and procedures |
