Position: Java Web Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 9 -12 Months Rate: $52/HR C2C Job Description Java and Demandware Web Developer. The successful candidate will work in a team environment to deliver specific project objectives on time and on budget, drive efficiency, and provide guidance and input into design and development engineering. They will also work in both front-end and back-end code environments and add to the general development knowledgebase of the team. RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develop and deploy scalable and appropriate website solutions using both a Java and Demandware development (customization) framework . Perform complete testing of all developed units and components including but not limited to browser compatibility handling. . Assist in completing end-to-end and regression testing . Manage source code and release management processes . Support all integration points and system administrator tasks and processes Requirements REQUIREMENTS: . Bachelor's degree in related field . 5+ years' experience doing Java web development in an eCommerce environment . Previous Demandware development highly desired. . Knowledge or expertise with HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery . Additional desired knowledge or expertise with HTM L5, Regex, JSON, Java,Web Services . Solid Object Oriented Programming background. . Previous experience with Eclipse IDE preferred . Understanding of distributed, component-based architectures . Understanding of browser compatibility coding . Prior work with the Attlassian product suite a plus .
