| Duties & Responsibilites : | The Programmer isresponsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of allapplication code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically areinvolved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement anddevelopment work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of thetechnologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. TheProgrammer works with the Functional Architect and Technical ArchitectureSpecialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customerrequirements. Years of RelevantExperience:10 plus years Preferred Education:4year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced studypreferred. Role Description: •Proven track record ofhands-on technical design and code work within large complex systems. •Proven hands-ontechnical work with a variety of technologies. •Demonstrated technicalexpertise integrating a variety of diverse technical environments andcross-platform technologies. •Proven experiencementoring and performing supervisory functions for technical teams. •Ability to make bestpractice recommendations based on past work. •Proven ability topresent complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users. •Proven ability tocollaborate with business users, project managers and technical architects. This programmer will beworking on a mainframe application using COBOL, DB2, IMS, CICS online. Pl/1 is a plus. This work is for aproject currently in progress, with an estimated completion date of12/31/2014. Overtime may benecessary at some time throughout the project.
