| Duties & Responsibilites : | Job Description:
Candidate is required to participate in defining and implementing activities related to the configuration management of software development. This may include scheduling, executing and documenting software build process. Includes compiling of software, packaging builds for release, ensuring appropriate project documentation is available for each release and supporting continuous integration environment. Perform regular software build and packaging activities and maintain multiple versions of packages in the distribution server. Develops script and automation tools used to build, integrate and deploy software release to various platforms. Setup and maintains system and application environment.
Required skills:
1) 7 or more years in software configuration management, technical support, build/release management
2) Possesses solid understanding of configuration tools - SVN /CVS
3) Should have the experience of working with build and deployment tools such as ANT, Maven, Jenkins/Hudson
4) Should have basic understanding of Java/J2ee related technologies.
5) Experience of working in UNIX (HP-UX. Solaris, Linux) environment.
6) Unix Scripting(Shell programming) knowledge
7) Exposure to deployment and configuring application on any application server (weblogic is preferred)
8) Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL
9) Good written and verbal communication skills
10) Good to have weblogic administration experience.
11) Knowledge of IBM Rational Clear Quest, Quality centre, JIRA is an added advantage
