Duties & Responsibilites :	The Database Programmer is responsible for data analysis and database management. Database Programmers typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the Application Team. DBA4 Years of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Role Description: All roles specified in DBA3 plus the following: •Participates in Database Management System selection and maintains database performance. •Knowledge of various Database Management System products. •Provide status of work to Project Team Lead. •Engage in ongoing process improvement. Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience: Proficient in spatial concepts and designs Required 4 Years Strong understanding of ESRI tools Required 4 Years Can communicate spatial concepts and designs to technical and non-technical audiences Highly desired 2 Years Strong communication skills - will be required to develop and lead brown bag learning sessions Required 2 Years Deep understanding of Transportation Roadway networks, GeoCoding and LRS Required 4 Years Familiar with ESRI's Roads and Highways Desired 2 Years Proficient in programming data and data related elements in an Oracle 11g spatial environment Required 4 Years
