| Duties & Responsibilites : | Our Client is required to be Basel II compliant.
The Basel II Project Management Office has been created to enable this compliance.
The PMO is looking for individuals who would be involved in the Risk Weighted Asset Calculator project.
Nature of responsibilities:
• Develop project related documents including business requirements
• Perform reconciliation and capital calculations on a spreadsheet
• Participate in implementation of the Basel II RWA calculator (system) including calculator testing
• Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards
• Work independently under general supervision, with latitude for initiative and independent judgment
• Manage external compliance consultants, as applicable
Skills:
• Understanding of the balance sheet
• Understanding of financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
• Proficient in SQL or other data query tools
Education/Credentials
• 2 or more years of full-time experience in risk, compliance, legal, audit or finance
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience required.
• Financial certification
• 1-2 years of Basel II experience
