Position: Data Architect/ BI Architect Location - Chicago
Duration - 1+ year The candidate will have strong systems knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Linux, and server scripting. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills to interact with the business and our global software team. Responsibilities The right candidate will assume responsibility for the following: . Data architecture - create new and evolve existing data architectures using Sybase, Sybase IQ, and Oracle . Database Design and Development - analyze, design, and develop data components required as part of our commercial and internal applications . Database Management - use Informatica and scripting tools to extract, transform, load, and generally manage and maintain relational data . Data Infrastructure - coordinate with infrastructure teams to engineer and deploy solutions . Production Support - support the daily and weekly production of our applications as it relates to data and database processes Requirements Candidate should possess the following skills and experience: . At least five years of relevant professional experience . Proficiency with Sybase, Oracle, Linux, and scripting (i.e. Perl, Python, etc.) . Excellent knowledge of database design, stored procedures and triggers, data replication, and performance turning . Familiarity and good knowledge of Informatica . Knowledge of Java, WebLogic, and Coherence a plus Your early response is highly appreciated..
