| Duties & Responsibilites : | Position: Front end developer Location: Costa Mesa (Orange County area) CA Duration: 12 month to 2 years Job Description This Front-end Developer position will work with the creative and technical teams to develop and maintain dynamic websites using various web technologies. This position will be responsible for creating HTML, CSS, content and image edits, and general updates, slicing designs to the web/mobile platforms. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the technical and business teams to create the desired look and feel for the web and mobile web sites. • Responsible for supporting new initiatives as well as production support of existing on-line applications • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form • Creative design and development sites Skills and Specifications • Mid years of front-end development • Experience with hand-coding HTML, XHTML, CSS and _javascript_ and standards-compliance • Experience and hand-on with Ajax and jQuery / JQuery UI • Experience with WAP/mobile Web development is a plus • Deep understanding of various cross-browser compatibility issues • Experience with image editing and slicing using Photoshop • Extensive technical experience with web and mobile technologies • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form • Solid web development experience Education and Qualifications 5-7+ years of related experience in Web Production and Web Technology. Bachelor’s degree in Graphical Design or technical field |
