Position Title: Network Engineer (Load Balancer)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Location: Richfield, MN
Relevant Experience: 3 - 6 yrs.
Summary:
Technical engineer in the Network devices - Network Admin supporting
Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxies, DNS/DHCP etc. Assist
in technical direction, education, development, and project management of
the technical staff.
Skills Required
* Advanced knowledge of high-availability technologies
* Proven background and experience in designing, monitoring and
troubleshooting enterprise wide area networks, Datacenter networks, Load
Balancers, Firewalls and Proxy.
* Ability to prioritize projects and deliver on commitments
* Experience designing and administering networks for Retailer
environment.
* Experience with global networks and IPSEC, VPN, MPLS technologies
* Expert knowledge of: Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls
* Monitoring design, network analysis and metric reporting to
establish bandwidth usage forecasting and network availability
* Load balancing traffic and engineering for automatic failover
* Layer 3 Experience: BGP/EIGRP/OSPF Routing including route
redistribution
* In depth knowledge in Routing, Switching and Wireless Technologies
and Security products.
* Should possess hands on experience in Cisco Network and security
products like VXR
* Routers, data center Nexus switches Nexus 2K, 5K and 7K, 6500,
4500 catalyst and Stack switches, ASA Firewalls and VPN Concentrator, Wide
Area Application Services (WAAS), Cisco ACE Load Balancers, Cisco IronPort
proxy.
* Should possess good troubleshooting skills in routing, switching,
wireless, IPSec and SSL VPN, ACL and security policies.
* Should work on network monitoring tools: Cisco Works LMS, Cisco
NCS, Vital Suite, Wireshark, ASDM and Checkpoint provider1.
* Design and implement end-to-end network infrastructure.
* Manage, troubleshoot and support multi-vendor network equipment
from offshore in 24x7 shifts.
* Provide consultation & support to resolve complex issues or to
configure the network equipment as per requirement.
* Good analytical and communication skills
