Our client, a large systems integrator is working on a New York State project and has a need for an on-site WebSphere Administrator in the Albany, NY area. The initial contract will run through year end with the possibility of 6-month extensions, thereafter. Overall, this is a multi-year project. Below mentioned are the details of the project. Position: Websphere Application Server Administrator Location: Albany, NY Job Description: - 8+ Years of experience with IBM Websphere Application Server Administration in a Linux environment. - Strong experience in maintenance of Http Web servers/Load balancers. - Experience in deploying web based application in a clustering environment. - Experience with performance testing of web application to determine memory utilization, GC for websphere application servers/ web server. - Analyse all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability, and scalability. Nice to have Skills: - Experience in IBM MQ Administration. - Experience in IBM Portal Server Administration.
