| Duties & Responsibilites : | Duties include but not limited to the following:
The position will be responsible for providing business analyst support to Data Center staff.
Primary duties will include analyst of new technologies being proposed and an evaluation of both the deployment of that technology
and the impacts on internal business processes.
Utilize a mix of expertise in network/system infrastructure architecture, data center, and technical project lead, as the candidate supports
the delivery of broad range of technical assignments
Work with internal technical teams and customer application groups on new application software installation,
configuration, infrastructure design specifications before implementation, troubleshoot, and performance analysis
Develop test/cutover plans and associated test scenarios, execute test scenarios, and document and evaluate test results.
Create documentation to support new technology deployments or new services offering.
Documentation will require production of various formats: Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Skills Required:
84+ months experience providing detailed technical infrastructure analysis for new deployments of new server or application technology in large scale (1000+ servers), multi-site data center environments.
84+ months experience as technical Lead on IT Projects and/or working with other groups as part of project team. Experience must include deployment of team materials using the following tools: MS project, Visio, Excel, and Word to produce technical documentation.
60+ months troubleshoot network-related tasks including troubleshooting server/application communications in a multi-homed server environment on a secure multi-tiered network using OS and/or 3rd party tools.
60+ months experience developing communication materials for a variety of audiences ranging from executive summaries to technical post mortems. Must include experience with Power Point, Word, Excel.
48+ months experience as Systems Administer supporting: Windows 2003-2012 for 24x7 Support in a large scale environment with multiple Intel platforms (over 1500 Windows servers).
48+ months experience installing, configuring and supporting the following Microsoft products: Exchange, Microsoft clustered Services.
48+ months experience installing, configuring and supporting the following ITS data center standard products: TSM backup clients, CA SiteMinder.
48+ months demonstrated knowledge with systems related to Tivoli ITM, Oracle, AIX, LINUX, Solaris, HP-UX, VMware/ESX, Mainframe & EMC/IBM Storage.
60+ months experience with large government organizations, to include processes that often impact business analysis with government purchasing and budgeting, as well as communications management within large, evolving organizations, and technical collaboration with chief technical officers and enterprise information security officers.
12+ months experience using and supporting business functions in ITSM Service-Now.
