*Job Description:*

   - Act as the primary technical resource in the UNIX space on an
   Infrastructure Service Management team at the segment level.****
   - Partner with Service Strategy, Design and Transition teams to ensure
   the successful transition of infrastructure changes.****
   - Follow through on problem management including documentation of known
   errors, documentation of processes required to facilitate remediation of
   known errors and managing through to a successful outcome.****
   - Technical assessment of current state of infrastructure devices such
   as servers, routers, etc…in support of segment infrastructure change
   requests****
   - Drive follow up of all types for Priority 1 outages as well as
   infrastructure wide remediation work.****
   - Technical assessment of remediation activities on all UNIX platforms.**
   **
   - Strong influencing abilities.****
   - STRONG UNIX CLUSTERING BACKGROUND.****
   - Strong analysis skills including ability to reconcile complex data,
   formulate recommendations given competing priorities, identify trends and
   formulate action plans****
   - Expertise in core processes such as incident management, change mgmt
   and problem mgmt****
   - Auditing of sys logs and other technical records to identify issues
   and confirm results.****
   - Coordination of internal and external resources to execute and
   validate work.****
   - Interact with internal and vendor technical SMEs.****

REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS:****

   - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Programming, Networks, Security
   or similar discipline OR equivalent experience****
   - Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Professional in an Admin role***

   - UNIX clustering****
   - Ability to prioritize work and to communicate updated work plans to
   leadership****
   - Ability to forecast future impacts based on pending data and decisions*
   ***
   - High level of ownership and accountability****
   - Relationship building skills and strong influencing abilities •
   Ability to work well on a team****
   - Flexible work schedule will be necessary (possible oncall situations)**

   - Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)****

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:****

   - ITIL v3 Foundations certification****
   - Experience with HP Service****
   - Ability to interface with all staff levels (technical to executive) to
