| Duties & Responsibilites : | Role and responsibility:
-Data Architect/Modeler has ownership for overall data and data quality standards.
-Has Healthcare Background and aware of healthcare business/data flows
-Responsible for development of Conceptual/Logical/Physical data models
-Perform the detail data analysis.
-Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and ensure that conflicts in descriptions and definitions are resolved.
-Conduct Product/User Interviews and Data Analysis Review meetings.
-Perform source data quality assessments.
-Identify the appropriate data sources with the assistance the business analyst.
-Perform the activities necessary to support the standardization of facts and dimensions.
-Prepare prototype models to support the development efforts.
-Assist the business analyst in mapping the data from source to target.
-Assist the business analyst and Data Acquisition team with data related issues such as: assessing data quality, data consolidation, evaluating existing data sources.
-Perform re-engineering of source models when necessary.
-Assist the DBA in converting the logical model(s) to physical.
-Maintain data in the metadata repository.
Required Skills:
-Experience in Healthcare - Preferred
-HIPAA X12 Standards - Preferred
-At least 5 years experience as the Data Architect role
-Experience in conducting Data Governance, Data Profiling, MDM meetings with cross teams
-Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2 Required)
-Experience in Developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical Models
-Experience with ER Studio or ERWin |
