| Duties & Responsibilites : | Job Description
-Function as the principal architect for endpoint anti-virus/anti-spyware service delivery and Internet gateway security, including all aspects and
integration of Systems Center Configuration Manager.
-Support endpoint security including endpoint antivirus and endpoint firewall, and manage security software. Define and implement endpoint security
systems software modifications.
-Fully support ITS endpoint security platforms, challenges and solutions.
-Effectively communicate security strategy both verbally and by writing specifications.
-Act as a project technical lead for design, evaluation, selection and implementation of new endpoint security solutions.
-Research, develop and document technical solutions to address endpoint security infrastructure requirements.
-Provide technical analyses and evaluations of new and planned security products and services.
-Provide architectural and cross-platform management within a 2007/2012 Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Management platform, including patch
management on a variety of platforms.
-Configure and provision HyperV and Citrix Applications in a multi-tenant environment.
-Analyze and resolve complex endpoint security problems.
-Configure and maintain SQL servers in large scale environment.
-Maintain current system documentation and change control procedures.
-Coordinate installation and maintenance of security hardware and software with the data center support and operations groups. Knowledge of Windows
Management Instrumentation (WMI) scripting necessary.
-Collect relevant data to assist in developing systems capacity planning.
-Work with vendor support personnel as required regarding implementing the endpoint security infrastructure, resolving system failures and developing
customized functionality to meet requirements.
Skills Required/Desired
-Five or more years demonstrated performance in related technology.
-Experienced in topics such as complex networks, messaging, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems and applications design and
implementation.
-This individual will have been formally trained by Microsoft in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Solutions Framework, product futures,
and relevant Certified Training in infrastructure and/or development areas associated with Microsoft's products.
-Contribute to review of customer tasks and development of MCS strategic approaches.
-Direct the activities of other Senior Consultants, Consultants and Associate Consultants.
-Lead role in delivering technical presentations to customer.
-Meet/interview customer to capture specific requirements in concise format.
-Participate in delivering technical presentations to customer staff.
-Participate in design of information systems.
-Participate in project staffing decisions.
-Participate in strategic planning sessions with MCS Technical Project Manager and customer staff.
-Perform Rapid Economic Justification (REJ) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis.
-Provide key personal link to Microsoft technology groups.
-Provide quality assurance review of engagement process and deliverables.
-5 years experience in Patch Management for WIN, AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Linux using Microsoft System Center Configuration Management 2007 & 2012.
-5 years experience in Endpoint Security Design & Implementation.
-5 years experience in WMI Scripting.
-5 years experience in development and architecture of Microsoft SQL Server 2008, R2 & 2012 – Expert Level.
-MS Certified: MCSE or MCSM
-5 years experience in Citrix – XEN, XEN App, XEN Server.
-5 years experience in Hyper V; ex: ZEN server & Microsoft Hyper V |
