| Duties & Responsibilites : | We are seeking an experienced Web Developer for the Web Standards and
Prototyping Team.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Development of HTML, CSS, and _javascript_ using libraries such as
jQuery plus relevant coding standards.
- Lead on discrete development projects and take complete ownership
of the front-end technical solution for the project and how it fits
into the overall site.
- Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task
schedules.
- Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively
communicate technical concepts to business teams.
- Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its
impact to the success of the business goal and be able to translate
them to a technical implementation.
- Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that
leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance
improvements, and better user experiences.
- Interact well with other technical team leaders such as
architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member
of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal.
Required Skills:
- 3 + years of front end UI software development experience
(UsingVisual Design Comps and Redline docs to create HTML/CSS from
scratch)
- 3 + years of strong experience in _javascript_, AJAX, HTML, CSS,
and advanced UI - Technologies
- Coding for accessibility, SEO, and front-end performance
- Strong analytical, problem solving, technical troubleshooting,
and production diagnostic skills.
