| Duties & Responsibilites : | Senior QA automation engineer/SDET
Requirements
•Minimum 3 years’ experience with OOD using C#
•Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch.
•Proficient in C# features like Generics, LINQ, Delegates etc.
•High-level of experienced with testing web sites (7+ years)
•Understanding of internet technology including HTML, _javascript_ and web services
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
Duties
•Write C# code tests to facilitate BDD Scenario driven tests with Telerik RADControls/extensions
•Develop C# test harness for tests of web methods and services
•Work collaboratively with fellow SDETs and development team members to develop automated tests
•Maintain automation framework
•Clearly communicate and document software defects including the details of the problem & steps for recreating
•Work with software team to characterize product issues and develop solutions
•Monitor Continuous Build automation test failures and fix as needed
•Understand subsystem level requirements and participate in test development/design discussions making recommendations to improve verification activities
•Support deployments to production on an iterative basis with the team
•Clearly communicate issues found while testing to facilitate corrective actions
•Keeping current with latest automated testing techniques and tools
Desired Skills & Experience
•Testing products developed with C# and Microsoft .Net platform
•Testing products that use Windows Communication Foundation and/or Windows Presentation Foundation
•Experience with integrating automated tests into a Continual Integration system such as Jenkins, Hudson or TeamCity
•Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
•Understanding of Web Intents development
•Experience with agile-based techniques such as BDD and TDD is a plus
•Experience with Agile Product Management tools, MS Visual Studio 2010, Resharper, Nunit, Telerik Testing Framework, Telerik Test Studio, VisualSVN/TortoiseSVN a plus
