Must have serve in many capacities on projects including physical database implementation, application/SQL performance tuning, security administration, and infrastructure process development and enhancement. Job description/ Responsibilities: · Experience in Teradata Database 13 or higher along with Advanced SQL skills · Strong working knowledge of Teradata workload management (TASM/TDWM). · Good understanding of logical modeling concepts · Experience transforming logical designs into physical database implementations · Experience with performance tuning implementations involving secondary indexes, join indexes, partitioned primary indexes, etc. · Knowledge of Teradata Utilities such as MultiLoad, FastExport, FastLoad, TPump, and BTEQ. · Understanding of Teradata Client Tools and Utilities including Teradata Administrator, SQL Assistant, Teradata Manager, Visual Explain, Index Wizard, Statistics Wizard, etc. · Lead large database technology projects (covering: database upgrades, performance enhancing projects, new technology adoption/implementation etc). · Provide support for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. · Administer internal change control implementations and database enhancements. · Administer, enhance, and refine Teradata workload management architecture and related policies. · Support the incident management identification and resolution process for discovered database software issues. *Thanks* *Javeed* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
