The job will entail. - Develop one or more of web, enterprise and customer-facing applications according to specifications. - Troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues. - Partner with other developers to share knowledge and experience. - Work with project teams to develop new and improved applications, forms, and reports. - Actively participate in system implementations and post production support. - Meet project deliverable deadlines; escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Estimate and forecast work effort on project deliverables. - Maintain systems to optimal performance levels. You must have the following skillset - Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field. - 3+ Years of development experience - Expert proficiency in Java and JEE - Experience with Groovy and Grails, JSON any ORM framework like iBATIS or Hibernate, REST based WEB API. - Performance tuning & debugging. - Knowledge on build tools like ANT and Maven and preferably experience on continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo. - Familiar with SQL and / or experience with database technologies such as Oracle. - Ability to learn multiple programming languages. - Ability to understand functional specifications and develop code independently. - Knowledge of Oracle Applications (11.0.3 to 11i) is a plus. - VB or .Net programming language a plus. - Strong problem solving capabilities. - Ability to work well independently and with all levels of the IS team.
