The Architect has the ability to design, develop, and implement application infrastructure to provide reliable and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization’s objectives and requirements.
The Architect is familiar with a variety of the application technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies, practices, and procedures.
The Architect is also able to perform a variety of complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision.
The Architect is experienced in defining systems and application architecture.
Years of Relevant Experience: Up to 5 years software development and testing
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree in computer science or related field with advanced study preferred.
Role Description:
Proven experience with hands-on technical development work.
Ability to coordinate with technical leads, business users and project managers.
Experience participating in development of standards and product recommendations.
Experience designing and architecting systems as a member of a design team.
Experience working through every phase of software development life cycle.
Strong verbal communication.
Required / Desired Skills:
SOA Required 5 Years
J2EE Development Required 5 Years
Sun One Studio Required 5 Years
Oracle v9i Required 5 Years
SQL Scripting Required 5 Years
Troubleshoot Production Error Logs Required 5 Years
Experience for code reviews of all developers Required 5 Years
Functional experience with State/Federal Permitting systems Nice to have
State of New Jersey infrastructure experience Highly desired
Prior experience with NJDCA Required
Prior leadership in coordinating large scale enterprize projects Required
