*Position: Sr.Oracle Developer(F2F Interview today at 3PM Only Locals) Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 1+ year* *This position designs and develops database centric application components used across a broad spectrum of business applications implemented to support pharmacy fulfillment activities and associated patient care and management. This role is also responsible for writing and approval of technical specifications in conjunction with Architecture & Engineering staff, support of Quality Assurance deliverables and for database Level 3 Production Support.* - Develop Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database objects. May be some development and integration efforts required with SQL Server and mySQL database structures and objects as well. - Develop stored procedures, ETL scripts, SSIS, and transactional-SQL calls. Lead or contribute to query and module optimization efforts. - Collaborate with data management staff to facilitate data modeling, DDL generation and versioning. - Collaborate with architecture and application development staff to establish and adhere to industry and enterprise best practices for development and optimization of database integration. - Develop modules to accept and/or transmit data to other internal and external systems, using XML, HL7, X12 or vendor-specific technologies. - Lead code reviews and provide database development guidance to other developers and architects. - Write and review technical specifications based on database requirements and functional specifications. Approve database technical specifications written by analysts and other developers. - Contribute to development and publication of release documentation and the development of code to facilitate the migration and conversion of data. - Assist with select quality assurance tasks, including test data preparation, defect root cause analysis and production support Work within multiple software development life cycle (SDLC) models including Waterfall and Agile. - Adhere to all HIPAA and SOX software development compliance policies and procedures. - Minimum 5 years experience in application development and support with Oracle 10g and Oracle SQL developer toolset and related database utilities. - Experience with both Oracle relational and OLTP models. - Minimum of 2 years experience working within matrixed systems project teams. - Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Minimum of 2 years experience with process modeling methodologies such as Six Sigma or CMM preferred. - Minimum of 2 years experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance initiatives, testing methodologies, and procedures preferred. - Minimum of 2 years experience with Agile Development Methodologies such as SCRUM, RAD (Rapid Application Development) and Extreme Programming preferred. *Regards*, *Vijay* 972-756-1212 * 132 *|| GTalk*: vijay.smist* ||** YIM*: vijayinventit || -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
