Job role and responsibilities :
- Providing Application support and being on call as required
- Leading administration of SAP Business Objects BI Platform and Windows Server 2008 application system administration, performing Business Objects installs, upgrades, configuration, architecture, Windows server infrastructure, load balancing, and integration of Business Objects with TomCat, IIS, and ASP
- Managing Business Objects and Crystal Reports security, management of groups, rights, and users, administering Central Management Console and Manager, System database, Files repositories, Launch Pad / InfoView management, management of content and objects, distribution of content using scheduling, alerting, diagnostics, and management of Crystal Reports Servers
- Crystal Reports designing, developing, reporting with Oracle back-end, testing and deploying
- Providing system support in a Windows Server 2008 environment with servers supporting COTS applications (such as Accela, Melissa Data, SVN and other tools), production on-call support for applications, troubleshooting, issue resolution, managing OS and network related tasks, back up, monitoring, tuning, testing, and technical documentation
- Familiarizing with NYS E-Licensing system and gaining expertise to provide support
- Leading technical meetings and support calls
- Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Skill Required :
- 60 Months of Experience with administration of SAP Business Objects BI Platform with Windows Server 2008. (i.e.- application system administration, with thorough understanding of Business Objects installs, upgrades, configuration, architecture, Windows server infrastructure, load balancing, and integration of Business Objects with TomCat, IIS, and ASP).
- 60 Months of experience with Business Objects and Crystal Reports security, (i.e.- management of groups, rights, and users, administering Central Management Console and Manager, System database, Files repositories, Launch Pad / InfoView management, management of content and objects, distribution of content using scheduling, alerting, diagnostics, and management of Crystal Reports Servers)
- 36 Months of Experience with Crystal Reports designing, developing, reporting with Oracle back-end, testing and deploying
- 36 Months of Experience with system support in a Windows Server 2008 environment, (i.e.-servers supporting COTS applications, production on-call support for applications, troubleshooting, issue resolution, managing OS and network related tasks, back up, monitoring, tuning, testing, and technical documentation). |
