Middleware engineer responsibilities:
•Responsible for installation and configuration of WebLogic Fusion Middleware in a clustered configuration
•Maintenance, patching, security best practices for middleware environments
•Performance & tuning of middleware
•Troubleshoot techniques for break fixes, performance, and normal deployments
•Skilled in middleware utilities
•Middleware patching
•Migrations from OAS to WL
•System monitoring & alerting techniques
•Middleware backup and recovery strategies
•Extensive knowledge of OBIEE running on WebLogic
Middleware infrastructure design, installation, upgrade, data conversion for Fusion Middleware.
Middleware backup & recovery procedures, access security. middleware tuning.
Fluent English communication
Technical Skills:
OS: Linux, Solaris
PROGRAMMING LANG/DVLPMT TOOLS: Fusion Middleware with JAVA, PL/SQL, Forms & Reports, Discover & OBIEE
DB SYSTEMS/ TOOLS: Oracle 11gR2
FRAMEWORKS/SLDS/METHODOLOGIES: RAC,ASM, OEM Grid Control |
