The role requires a blend of technical skills (understanding of XML and of web services, payment networks, payment processors, etc.) and business/project management skills (Issue clarification and management, tracking of multiple processors/merchants as they come onboard). This person will be the single point of contact for payment processors and merchants and will become proficient in the Wallet functionality, the web services used to interface with the Wallet server, and the messaging sent between the server and payment processors. The Production Support Analyst will be the single point of contact for onboarding, and will help processors to get setup and tested. The candidate needs to have good analytical skills and excellent communication. **************************************************************** *Position 2* *Production Support Engineer* Duration: 12 months Rate: $55/hour c2c *Production Support Engineer:* We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support for a Mobile Wallet application. This person will be responsible for Cosmetic changes (e.g content changes), execution of scripts, report generation Integration and testing of back-end enterprise services, 3rdparty service interface testing and monitoring, working with the infrastructure and support teams for server management, build management and deployments. Responsibilities include close coordination with the infrastructure teams for system/server upgrades, logs analysis, backup and restore, system checks, server health checks and startups, initialization, database checks and database management. Early watch analysis and user role management via a custom tool and use of a custom production support tool. Good documentation skills required. Skills: 6+ years of experience Skilled Unix administration, scripting, troubleshooting, Must have good understanding of Java web services and experience coding in same. Good understanding of databases and some ability to use SQL to check data and generate reports. Must have ability to make application content changes using Java and Spring Axis 2, HTML, XML are a plus. Subversion or other source control tool experience required. Anthill or other build system experience required. Good understanding of SLAs, support tools Good communication skills (Written, Oral) ********************************************************************** *Position 3* Production Support Lead: SFO,CA $65/hr on c2c We are looking for a lead for a small Production support team for a Mobile Wallet application. The lead will be responsible for managing production support by working with onsite and offshore support teams to resolve level 2 issues and to set up new payment processors and merchants for the wallet product. They will coordinate between onsite and offshore teams and provide guidance to the teams, as wells as work with the client to escalate issues, risks and dependencies related to the wallet product or the onboarding of payment processors/merchants. Incident status and management, reporting, and ensuring the team identifies problems and performs root cause analysis are part of the role. This person will be responsible for working with the team to develop and maintain a System health matrix, System Usage snapshot, System Response time, Weekly, monthly reports on tickets handled & resolved, escalations, SLA Compliance, and other documentation to be developed as required. The Production Support Lead will be the single point of contact for the client production issues. Skills Required: 10+ Years of IT experience Hands on with Unix, troubleshooting, database, scripting, reports preferred but not required. Good understanding of SLAs, dependencies, support tools. Experience with offshore support model. Good communication skills (written, Oral) are essential Technical Project Management experience would be ideal.
