| Duties & Responsibilites : | SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Client IS MOVING IN AN AGILE/ LEAN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY UTILIZING TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO HAVE A KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON TO ADMINISTER AND SET GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS IN PLACE FOR THE FRAMEWORK THAT SUPPORTS THE AGILE/ LEAN METHODOLOGY.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops security measures and policies for Team Foundation Server (TFS) to prevent unauthorized access.
* Recommends tools processes and resources to facilitate adoption of Agile/ Lean utilizing TFS.
* Researches and evaluates new technologies to improve adoption of Agile/ Lean utilizing TFS functionality.
* Analyzes and troubleshoots problems related to all aspects of the TFS environment.
* Expert knowledge and experience with Agile/ Lean methodologies using TFS.
* Create, manage and troubleshoot TFS work space.
* Develop standards and processes for adopting Agile/ Lean development methodologies utilizing TFS.
* Develop plans for Disaster Recovery of the TFS environment to support business continuity within projects managed by Agile/ Lean methodology and TFS.
* Installs and manages TFS environment as per best practices.
* Most have great interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage others to adopt Agile/ Lean methodologies utilizing TFS.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• Address technical problems that arise with the Agency's TFS Solution.
• Act as Agency's TFS help desk support.
• Install, Configure, Manage, and Administer Agency's TFS Environment.
• Implement TFS Security best practices.
•Apply patches and updates to TFS Servers and Clients.
•Create, manage, secure, archive and delete Team Project Collections and Team Projects.
CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM, PROJECT STAFF, AND THE USER COMMUNITY.
