Position : SAP SD Consultant
Duration : 3 months

Responsible for documenting the “to-be” processes, defining performance
metrics, and identifying and resolving process gaps. Should have a strong
understanding and experience in the SAP methodology used by the
organization. Responsible for mapping the business processes to SAP (often
in conjunction with consultants) and participates in user acceptance
testing. involved in the creation of documentation and training materials,
and may deliver training during implementation. May also act in a system
support role immediately after implementation. Incumbents in this position
come from the business, are experts in that business function, and have an
understanding of the business processes of the function they represent.
They also serve as a liaison to the business during implementation,
gathering additional information when needed and keeping the business
informed regarding the implementation. Bachelor’s Degree in function
represented in the business. Or equivalent work experience. Typically
should have 7 - 9 years of business experience.

*Role *
We are currently looking for a senior SAP QM consultant to join our SAP
team. You
will be working as part of the US based project team. The role's task is to
drive
the solution implementation of the QM functions, providing consulting
advice based
on client's requirements and SAP best practice / experiences.
The detailed job description consists of performing typical project
activities
focusing on SAP applications / functionality outlined in the skills section:
- Validation of detailed functional specifications that are already
developed
- System configuration and documentation
- Knowledge transfer to client resources
- Functional testing
- Testing of custom developments and documentation
- Integration testing
- Cut-over activities
- Go-live support
- Post go-live support
- Ability to manage tight timelines
- Good oral and written communication skill - Business Fluent English
- Ability to create testing scripts and performing end to end testing
- Ability to develop user training material and deliver user training

*Job Requirements*
A minimum of 5 years SAP SD configuration experience, including at least 2
full
lifecycle implementations:
- Knowledge of Quality Management and ideally Production Planning SAP
modules
- Strong configuration skill in Pricing and Billing
- Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to work with Users to translate the requirement into Detail design
- Strong skill in translating User requirements into Detail Design
documents for Programmers
- Understanding of SAP integration points
- Self starter and ability to work independently with little supervision
- Team player and positive attitude
Local candidates to Houston, TX preferred. Non-Local candidates expect
travel to be 75-100%
