Position; Tibco Spotfire Technical Analyst Location: New York City, NY Duration: 6+ Month Contract Main Duties Work with business users to develop data mining ‘analyses’ using Tibco Spotfire and other statistical analyses packages. Deploy and train new users on the use of Tibco Spotifre and data mining tools. Develop complex visualizations utilizing data mining tools.Help to develop implementation and deployment standards. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of organization and industry. Capture and analyze business requirements and underlying business context. Create data mappings and data dictionaries. Person Requirements · Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Visualization experience Tibco Spotfire and/or other data visualization tools · Database/SQL experience · They should be able to effectively interact and effectively communicate with business users including trading, sales and operations · Flexibility, prioritization and self management (the ability to work on several tasks at once).
