| Duties & Responsibilites : | We currently have a new position for client in Boston, MA for a Coldfusion Developer for a 3.5 month contract. Must be able to do an onsite interview.
Here are the details:
Minimum 5-7 years ColdFusion development experience (the more experience the better)
Good understanding of the entire SDLC
PL /SQL exposure is a “nice to have”
Good communication is key!
Need to be able to take direction and also work independently.
Project is running with ColdFusion version 9 (experience with 7 or 8 will suffice)
This project uses MySQL
Advanced MySQL querying
_javascript_ Frameworks like jQuery and/or Ext
_javascript_ charting like jqPlot
JQuery plugins including jqGrid
Understanding of the Clinical space (specifically pharmaceutical trials etc)
It’s both front-end and back-end (70-80% back end). There is very little as far as design. Most of the work will be creating/refining workflows, creating advanced queries in MySQL and formatting the query results into dynamic tables, charts and graphs
Looking for 1 developer to augment the current staff and will work under the direction of the Senior Developer who originally built the application. This project is to enhance a study start up application – mostly all back end work, development in ColdFusion with an SQL Database which engages the physicians with document requirements to get pharmaceutical studies up and running. 3 releases, each consisting of both enhancements and new development, this is subject to change. Ability to work with different stake holders including but not limited to BA’s, QA and business owners.
To start this person would sit down with the BAs and walk through the application, the requirements, and the expectations going forward before getting to work on the application itself. Open to suggestions on how to enhance the application if needed, but this person will primarily be focused under the framework of the original application. Do not someone to do a complete redesign of the existing application. Developer will also be expected to some good Unit Testing before pushing to the testing group. Will also work with the Business owners to explain and demonstrate enhancements throughout process.
