*Senior Business Objects Developer * *Loc: Berkeley Heights, NJ*
*Term: 1 Yr* Client is seeking a Senior Business Objects Developer with 10 to 12 years of IT industry experience and around 6 years in developing universes and reports using Business Objects tools. Candidate should be a seasoned BO developer with experience in many successful reporting implementations preferably in pharmaceutical industry. Individual should have strong business and functional knowledge. The BO Developer/Analyst will work closely with business leaders and partners, as well as IT teams to define and design reporting solutions tailored to the specific business needs. This includes gathering requirements, designing and rolling out analytics and reporting solutions to key end users. This role will have technical responsibilities for design, development and support of the Corporate Information delivery solutions, as well as development and delivery of system documentation and user documentation. Developer will perform analysis and develop standard report / dashboard offerings that support ad hoc requests from across the organization to provide critical information required by business users and senior management when making tactical and strategic decisions. Job profile: • Business Objects lead developer using Business Objects XI 3.1 – Web Intelligence, Designer • Analyze, architect, design and develop BO universes and reports • Understand business process and business applications and their associated reports and SQL extracts • Understand reporting database schema/model, identify joins/tables, perform data analysis. • Create, maintain and update technical requirements document, design document, mapping document, Issues Log, UT Scripts • Implement and recommend industry BI standards and best practices • Work as a one-person team and perform all development activities independently • Proactively identify problems/issues/risks and provide solutions • Work closely with the different business groups namely Risk Management and Clinical groups to cater to their reporting needs. • Work closely with the Software Quality Management (testing) team. Provide resolutions to defects identified by SQM team; provide support during system integration and regression testing. • Follow proper SDLC and change management process whenever new report requests or enhancements requests are implemented. • As a team lead, follow up with other developers on pending tasks and ensure timely completion of tasks; provide up to date status on all development activities to management team • Facilitate clients, both internal and external in defining report requirements. • Designs and documents BO & DW requirements by preparing diagrams, logic charts and programming specifications as required. • Participates in problem resolution tasks and documents approach for support when applicable. • Lead and /or participation in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support of “Small to Large” project efforts for dashboards, reports, integration. • Analyze and proactively monitor current reporting/BI environment recommending and implementing improvements • Provide status updates on regular basis and be committed to aggressive delivery timelines Thanks Tejas Patel *X**Duce* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
