| Duties & Responsibilites : | Experience with Clinical or Financial data is a Must. Key Responsibilities : • Understand the business users’ requirements for information and communicate them to the rest of the data warehouse team; • Leads and coordinates teams of other resources to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements associated with the ICD10 remediation project. • Takes ownership of the analysis and understanding of ICD10 Business requirements. • Work with and provides governance over third party vendors, and act as subject matter expertise resource over the Data Warehouse and BI tools. • Understand data in Clinical and Financial data warehouse and other source systems. • Lead and conduct interviewing task; • Assist DW data analyst in analyzing existing reports • Lead preparation of data warehouse requirements document • Assist data analyst in mapping task; • Analyze existing reports; • Lead identification and documentation of business requirements in support of ICD10 • Help identify potential sources of data for the data warehouse; • Oversee testing of data acquisition processes and their implementation into production; • Act as consultant to the ETL and front-end programmers. • Help data modelers prepare models, and review models to ascertain that requirements are met Minimum Job Qualifications: Education/Training – • A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Health Information Management or Computer Science Experience with Clinical or Financial data is a Must. Business Experience – • 2 years experience in developing with Healthcare , Clinical or Financial Data strongly preferred • 2 years experience in developing data warehouse requirements, report definition, or database mapping and extract work Specialized Knowledge/Skills – • Experience with Healthcare , Clinical or Financial Data strongly preferred • Experience designing & developing data warehouse and BI reports • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. • Ability to effectively gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis. • Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling and ETL design • Skill to query in SQL and other ad-hoc query tools with database dictionary to extract and analyze data. • Understanding of SAP Business Objects xi2.0 or higher at minimum 3 years. All aspects of creating universes/reports and dashboards, experience in Business Object 4.0 is preferred • Proficient in Excel, MS Access |
