Duties & Responsibilites : KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in business requirement sessions and technical design reviews.
• Create and manage test plans, procedures, and schedules in accordance with company’s best practices.
• Oversee the creation, management, prioritization, and execution of test cases and scenarios.
• Secure and manage test data and test environments.
• Create and present test execution and defect status reports.
• Monitor defect resolution efforts and inform PMO of impacts to test effort.  Close defect reports when corrective action has been applied.
• Conduct test activities in accordance with project scope and schedule.
• Lead project test phases:  end-to-end white box testing, user system testing, performance, and UAT.
• Bring forth and manage test-related risks and issues to the PMO.
• Perform initial debugging by reviewing configuration files or logs to determine defect source and providing quality check on defects reported by the test team.
 
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10 years of experience in software test and quality role employing testing methodologies.
• Strong experience leading the testing of a framework consisting of multiple applications and multiple interfaces.  This includes SAP CRM, mainframe, portal, web services, and batch interfaces.
• Extensive experience leading test efforts involving multiple IT teams and business groups is a must.
• Must be able to present and explain test methodology, test/defect status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Electric and/or gas utility testing experience is preferred.
• Creative, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and innovative thinking skills
• Ability to convert project scope and business requirements into test strategies and plans.  Must be able to advise IT and business teams on test prioritization.
• Must be able to effectively lead test planning sessions.
• Must be able to manage test schedule and resources in accordance with the development schedule.
• Must be able to question/challenge test resources to ensure accuracy of test results.
• Must have a performance testing background, preferably with SAP CRM.
• Must have managed requirements, test cases, and defects in HP Quality Center 11.
