Under general direction, independently works with customers to establish
business needs and goals and elicits requirements for development of
systems solutions for moderately to highly complex projects. Acts as
liaison between the customer and the development team to determine and
deliver the most effective solution. Possesses strong retail or data
processing systems background or both. HFA is seeking a senior functional
analyst with extensive experience with the Financial and Accounting
applications in the Oracle E-Business Suite.



Responsibilities of this position

·         Researches existing software components and technology, explores
design and infrastructure options and recommends solutions based on
customer requirements.

·         Identifies technical and operations risks associated with all
phases of development of new systems and existing systems.

·         Responsible for training, mentoring, directing and validating
work of other analysts.

·         Keeps management informed on a timely basis of progress, status,
and concerns for each assignment.

·         Effectively communicates ideas and information with peers,
management and customers.

·         Assists with the definition of scope by phase for the overall
initiative

·         Performs other duties as assigned



Skills and Experience

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in the specification,
development, and delivery of software solutions

·         Technical/Functional SME with experience configuring and
supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite (General Ledger and Procure to Pay
specifically).

·         Expertise in Application Development using Oracle Forms, Reports,
Workflow, SQL Loader, Forms Personalization, XML Publisher

·         Technical/Functional experience with Oracle Supplier Network,
iSupplier, and EDI a plus.

·         Proven experience acting as the liaison between the customer and
development team to identify and deliver the most effective technology
solution

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing
priorities

·         Ability to drive requirements gathering using effective
elicitation and documentation techniques

·         Ability to develop use cases

·         Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work
cooperatively with our customer and project teams to get issues resolved
quickly

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
clearly, listen effectively to others and encourage others to express their
ideas

·         Ability to play an active role in system and user acceptance
testing support.

·         Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Word,
Excel, Visio and Sharepoint

·         Willingness to travel up to 25%

·         Int. ORACLE EBS Required
