Position Type :FT * *JoB Description:* 1) ORACLE APPLICATIONS DBA -Educational : Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, engineering or related field. JOB SUMMARY: Candidate must have at least 6-8 years of proven experience in complex ERP environment dealing with multiple lifecycle management for Oracle EBS implementation including high availability and disaster recovery management, EBS DB Performance and tuning experience. Should be capable of leading the DBA track in a on-going program of implementation and instance consolidation. Responsible for leading smooth operations related to multiple Oracle Applications Database environments running on different platforms. Experience with Oracle Applications technology stack, including architecture, installation, configuration, maintenance, cloning and patching procedures. - Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams. - Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management. - Person should be customer facing, and be able to plan work allocation for project team PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support multiple instances of Oracle R12 - Analyze and implement the physical database design and structure, ensure enterprise database environments are in optimal condition, manage production databases in Client environments, and support complex problem-solving challenges. - Create and review physical data models, coordinating data security restraints and actively supporting test plans/environments, benchmarks and statistics. - Improve the quality and reduce defects in all database environments and Application server environments by providing performance and tuning. - Thorough experience on backup and recovery procedures. - Coordinate with data security to provide appropriate security, SOX compliance and secondary authorization. - Review documentations and work delivered on the DBA track. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
