Please mail your resume to [email protected] or call me at 972-756-1212 Ext: 132 *Position: Java UI Developer (Locals MUST) Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Longterm Interview Type: F2F* * Main Duties* - Develop Java components of web based systems and services for Retail and Business Banking (RBB) customers - Work as a member of a global team to develop quality products and services - Possess a strong work ethic - team player, creative, passionate and disciplined - Work in a rapid and agile development process to enable increased speed to market against a backdrop of appropriate controls. - Implement good development and testing standards to ensure quality of deliverables - Keep up with new developments in technologies relevant to your area of skill *Technical Experience and Capabilities* - 5+ years’ experience in a variety of web development technologies with proven experience of the following: - Successfully operating in the development of large scale web applications, services and portals in ecommerce environment, bank applications or other high security client facing web/internet services. - Demonstrated experience with core frameworks such as authentication mechanisms (single sign-on, OAuth, etc.), logging, metrics, watchdog, etc. - Thorough knowledge of technologies such as web services, web and application servers (e.g. Tomcat, WebSphere), Oracle databases, SSL, TCP/IP stacks, MVC (Spring), Hibernate, Ajax, XML, jQuery, HTML5, etc. - Excellent experience in developing large-scale applications and web portals using J2EE technologies and frameworks in Java 5. - Very comfortable with application development and deployment on a variety of platforms such as Windows, Unix, Linux, etc. - Familiarity with cryptography libraries such as OpenSSL. - Experience working with 3rd party (including open source) software and libraries. - Excellent understanding of and demonstrated use of design patterns and multi-threading. - Thorough working knowledge of software development tools, including IDEs (e.g. Eclipse, RAD ), source control (e.g. Subversion, Perforce), etc. - Experience working with infrastructure, deployment, change/release management teams. - Experience working efficiently with UX/UI design teams. - Experience working in agile development environment. - Delivering against agreed metrics including product quality, performance and service. - Prior experience working independently with other teams, both internal and external, on technical assignments. *Communications and Relationship Management* - Must be able to effectively communicate technical solutions and innovative ideas with other team members and external technical teams. - Must be able to communicate with the non-technical project stakeholders by translating relevant information into understandable terminology. - Prior experience working with geographically distributed global teams effectively - Prior experience writing detailed design documents such as Class diagrams, Sequence Flows, etc. Business Knowledge - Familiarity with Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). - Expected to be on top of all the new developments in the market, as well as adopting the relevant ones into Barclays and your team. ** * * *Regards*, *Vijay* 972-756-1212 * 132 *|| GTalk*: vijay.smist* ||** YIM*: vijayinventit || -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
